The Beatles

Liver Building
Whilst Liverpool is world famous as the city that launched the Beatles and the 'Mersey Sound', there is much more to offer the visitor. The waterfront and the famous Liver Buildings (left) are next to the Albert Dock which boasts world class attractions, such as the Beatles Story, the Tate Gallery, the Maritime Museum and the Customs Museum. Its fine selection of shops and restaurants make Albert Dock an all year round, unmissable attraction. Our full Restaurant & Banqueting service is now available.

And away from the waterfront, you will find Liverpool's two fine cathedrals and an impressive shopping area.

Why not combine a day in Liverpool with a trip to see Speke Hall - Liverpool's hidden treasure? Speke Hall is a 400 year old Hall with a Tudor past and a colourful Victorian interior. Its rich carvings, secret passages and cobbled courtyard are a delight - yet only 20 minutes from the centre of Liverpool. A guided visit to Paul McCartney's house is highly recommended.
We can combine this with our fab driving tours of Liverpool,
and add on a discounted visit to The Beatles Story
Speke Hall

They sprang to fame from The Cavern, a cellar club in Mathew Street. It took a long time for the city to realise that many Beatles fans might wish to visit this narrow street to see where it all began. In fairness, there was little to see. To make matters worse, permission was given for The Cavern to be closed to make way for a new rail tunnel and a small car park. However, a steady stream of pilgrims from all over the world continued to make their way to Mathew Street. But some far-sighted locals set out to cater for the visitors. The area began to flourish and now it is a hive of activity with Beatles shops, a re-created Cavern and a wide range of bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets, making the Mathew Street area a focal point for the city's night life.
